Arctic woodlands - photography tour

Rovaniemi area has plenty to offer to those with an interest in nature photography. In order to reach the most scenic and authentic Arctic nature, we have to leave the urban area and head into the Arctic woodlands. This photography tour will take you to an easy-access nature location near Rovaniemi for some great outdoor photography possibilities. The tour is guided by a professional photographer-guide who shares his knowledge about Arctic nature and gives tips and guidance about nature photography. During the tour we will witness some beautiful Arctic forest scenery and admire wildly running white-waters amidst wintry surroundings.

On this tour we will travel to Vaattunki wilderness area by minivan. Once we have reached our destination we will continue on foot. The nature trail we take is easily accessible, thus enabling us to keep the focus on photography and enjoying the wonderful nature. During the tour we will also have an option to prepare some snacks on open fire and enjoy hot beverages while tuning into the silence of the forest.
